My Brother Martin is a biography of Martin Luther King Jr. written by his sister Christine King Farris. It is about Martin as a child and how he became so involved in the civil rights movement. It tells of all the things he did to fight for equality for ever man and woman.

The Diary of Anne Frank is about a young girl who was living with her family in an attic to stay hidden from Nazi soldiers. The diary starts two weeks before her family goes into hiding. She was a Jew and the Hitler regime was trying to get rid of all of the Jews. Anne and her family along with four others lived in the attic above her fathers office for two years and a month before they were betrayed and sent off to a concentration camp. It is a really good book which most people have heard of or read.
