Hatchet is about a boy named Brian traveling in an airplane to Alaska to visit his father. On his way there the pilot has a fatal heart-attack and the plane crashes into a lake in the wilderness. Brian learns to live off of the land and take care of himself. Everyday he has run ins with the animals of the area. His goal is to get out of there.

Mr. Tucket is about a boy, named Francis Tucket, who is traveling on the Oregon Trail with his family. After straying off of the trail, he is captured by the Pawnee tribe. He then is able to get free and travels with Mr. Grimes who teaches him to live off of the land. Francis likes this so much that he takes a while to return home.

School Fever is a compilation of poems that Brod Bagert has written about school. It is intended for children and pokes fun at some of the stuff that happens at school. One is about a kid that claims he caught a virus from a computer, another about a super hero that was hired to take care of the school bully. It is a very humorous compilation of poems that would definitely get the children interested in poetry.
