There's Something in My Attic (A Pied Piper Book)

There’s something in my attic is about a little girl who is convinced that there is a monster in her attic. She discovers that it is a nightmare. She keeps telling her parents that there is something in the attic, but they keep telling her that nothing is up there. Finally she goes up there and finds a nightmare. She tries to lure it to her parent’s room so they can see it. When she finally gets her parents awake, the nightmare dissappears. This is a great book for children. It allows them to use their imagination. I’m sure that a lot of small children can relate to being scared of something at night. I think this book will keep students engaged!
